This international conference, organized by the Structural Steel Research Group, Department of Civil Engineering of IIT Hyderabad is the First Conference focused on Structural Steel and its applications to be held from March 25-27, 2020 in Hyderabad. This ISSC 2020 conference is happening with an association of ASCE India Section and Springer Publications.

It will be of interest to steel and aluminium structure designers and manufacturers, trade associations, design engineers, steel fabricators, architects, owners or developers of steel and aluminium structures, researchers, academics and post-graduate students.

Call of papers:

The scientific committee of ISSC 2020 welcomes the papers that have the following scopes 

• State-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice in structural engineering

• Art and science of structural modeling and design

• Novel analytical, computational and experimental simulation techniques.

• Propose new structural systems and study the merits of existing ones.

• Pioneer methods for maintenance, rehabilitation, and monitoring of existing structures.

• Investigate the properties of engineering materials as related to structural behavior.

 

All the accepted papers of ISSC 2020 will be published in the Springer Special Conference Proceedings
